Description
The UX Designer plays a leadership role in the Product and Scrum Teams. He/ she improves the performance and experience of the product. The incumbent plays a critical role to ensure that both the interaction and visual design of the product create a compelling user experience. He/ she should be intimately aware of user needs by regularly observing and researching users.

Responsibilities
- Translate conceptual ideas (business needs and user goals) into elegant, intuitive and engaging experiences;
- Stay current with industry standards and connect with outside talents; seek out opportunities for professional development and stretch assignments;
- Participate and engage with the design community; be a vocal contributor through speaking and writing engagements; actively test and research users, measure effectiveness of design solutions and user performance and share findings with the Product Team;
- Maintain highly collaborative relationships with Product Managers;
- Take a leadership role in the Development Team in driving continuous improvement to the product design;
- Work with the Development Team to maintain design consistency throughout implementation.

RequiredQualifications
- Availability of a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional graphic and interaction design skills;
- More than 5 years of professional experience in an interaction design field;
- High proficiency in English language, both verbal and written;
- Ability to organize personal work and meet deadlines;
- Ability to solve complex problems using logical reasoning;
- Ability to communicate concepts for user experiences through story-boarding, wire-framing or other conceptual tools;
- Strong ability to learn from users and create patterns based on observation;
- Highly technical expertise in design field;
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate ideas into tangible design solutions while clearly articulating the reasoning behind them;
- Solid understanding of standard design principles, including grid systems, typography and interface patterns; a strong ability to organize complex data or content interactions through visual design, information architecture, and principles of interface design;
- Proven leadership skills in projects, client relationships and peers.
