Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational activities of the laundry and housekeeping departments
- Manage budgets according to occupancy and forecasting, schedule staff accordingly
- Implement guidelines, policies, and procedures for operating departments
- Guide operations and establish a work environment to achieve goals and objectives
- Manage performance issues that arise within the respective operating departments
- Attend all scheduled meetings and contribute actively with proper preparation
- Interview, select, train, appraise, coach, counsel and discipline departmental employees according to company standards
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Conduct a daily briefing with team members on current key activities
- Evaluate changes in guest needs, the guest mix and competitive set, to recommend appropriate product/service and operational changes as necessary
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations
- Interact in a positive way with other departments to ensure a luxury guest experience
RequiredQualifications
- Minimum of 3 years housekeeping management experience, preferably in the luxury setting
- A strong understanding of operational controls, budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to train and develop team members
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take initiative
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent knowledge of Armenian and English languages
- Computer skills
