Responsibilities
-Analyzes equipment to establish operating data. Conducts experimental tests and evaluates results
-Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability
-Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems
-Determines design approaches and parameters
RequiredQualifications
-Has familiarity with UNIX operating systems. Familiarity with one or more IC design CAD packages required. Organizational skills essential. Typically requires no previous professional experience. Knowledge base generally acquired from a college degree or equivalent course training. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues. Fol lows standard practices and specific, outlined, and detailed procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtain ed. Builds routine working relationships internally. Contacts are primarily with direct manager and other peers in the group or department.
