Responsibilities
- Act as a Scrum Master and Team Coach for agile teams and bear responsibility for the Scrum Process
- Manage each project’s scope and timeline
- Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
- Help teams implement changes effectively, protect the team from outside distractions, impediments or team conflicts, and maintain focus on product backlog and project timeline
- Enable the development teams to plan and to achieve set goals autonomously
- Act as a role model in the meetings and ensure their success
- Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it
RequiredQualifications
- A university degree in the field of information technology, computer science, linguistics, sociology, psychology or related field
- General understanding of software development and related processes
- Outstanding communication and moderation, conflict resolution, budgeting, time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Basic knowledge of Agile principles and practices and capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge
- Experience as a scrum master or a project manager role would be an advantage
- Experience with other agile methods (e.g. XP, Kanban, Lean Startup, Design Thinking, Competitive Engineering, Management 3.0, etc.) would be an advantage
- Fluency in English and Russian
- Enthusiasm, open mindedness and result orientation
