Responsibilities

1. Develop custom WordPress plugins

2. Develop web-based PHP applications

3. Closely collaborate with the design department

4. Lead the entire plugin development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support

5. Optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale

6. Use test driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality

7. Coordinate with the development team and project managers for status updates and progress as well as technical issues that may arise.

 

RequiredQualifications

1. 2+ years’ experience in PHP development

2. 2+ years’ experience in WordPress development

3. Strong knowledge and experience with PHP web frameworks

4. Experience and knowledge of WordPress themes and templates

5. Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP

6. Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is a plus

7. Understanding accessibility and security compliance

8. Experience in developing responsive websites

9. Good command of conversational English
