Responsibilities
- Create development-ready design assets for a seamless handoff between design and development;
- Collaborate with web developers to ensure design elements meet web standards;
- Strategize best practices for implementing your designs in a responsive environment;
- Synthesis and extract insights from data to identify an experience pain point and possible opportunities;
- Measure and improve your web designs based on quantitative and qualitative feedback;
- Brainstorm and iterate with your design colleagues to help raise the bar on the whole PicsArt experience;
- Stay up-to-date on web design trends and be comfortable suggesting new and different solutions;
- Be proactive in product improvements and identify new product ideas and opportunities;
- Use industry techniques that designers use: personas, journey maps, diagramming, etc.
RequiredQualifications
- 3+ years of experience in UX and Web Design with a thorough understanding of interaction design fundamentals;
- Experience in cross-browser development;
- Experience in both quantitative and qualitative research;
- Experience with web protocols, standards, and technologies (everything from accessibility to CSS Grid to responsive images);
- Knowledge of basic CSS animation techniques is a plus;
- Basic knowledge of web platforms;
- Familiarity with responsive and grid-based design;
- Familiarity with current design patterns and guidelines for web experiences;
- Familiarity with the development lifecycle;
- Familiarity with web languages including HTML, CSS, SASS, JS is a plus;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and relationship management skills;
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- A portfolio showing detailed Web Design work.
