Responsibilities

Under supervision of the Weapon Contamination Coordinator, the Field Officer’s duties will be to support the Unit to implement a survey on knowledges attitudes and practices (KAP) survey, support local actors in risk awareness / risk education capacity-building and work with local actors on a victims’ database.

Specifically, he/she will:

• Implement the KAP survey and analyse the results
• Work with local actors on risk awareness and safer behaviour on identifying needs, gaps and solutions
• Support training to local actors on risk awareness and safer behaviour
• Manage victim database, including follow-up, accuracy and analysis
• Identify, train and accompany suitable host of victim database

RequiredQualifications

• University degree
• Two years' work experience in social or community-related field or similar would be asset
• Fluent knowledge of spoken and written Armenia, Russian and English
• PC proficiency
• Detail-oriented person, high sense of task prioritizing and ability to handle multi-tasking
• Good knowledge of the geographic area assigned
• Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team will be an asset
