Responsibilities
- Plan and implement new designs
- Optimize existing user interface designs
- Gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components
- Understand customers' business goals and objectives
- Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements
- Create prototypes for new product ideas
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
- Test new ideas before implementing
- Conduct an ongoing user research
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
RequiredQualifications
- BSc degree in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
- 2 years of relevant working experience
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Visual design and wire-framing tools
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery Mobile
- Portfolio of sample projects highlighting design for web based applications, mobile applications & consumer facing web sites and/or applications
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- Proven experience showing clear understanding of the intersection between user needs, technology requirements, and business goals
- Artistic eye for design and the ability to think creatively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational, time and project management skills
- Detail oriented, problem solver and customer-centered
- Business-minded approach to time, costs and deadlines
