Responsibilities
- Support Pre-EPIC/EPIC incubation program to ensure success of program against EPIC's intended goals, especially EPIC's program focus areas, workshops, meetings and mentoring programs
- Help plan the content of workshops/events/seminars/conferences including help to procure high quality speakers
- Support and mentoring of EPIC startup teams in conjunction with AUA faculty, alumni, and outside mentors and advisors
- Help to establish and maintain a network of experienced entrepreneurs and investors that are good candidates for future support of and interaction with EPIC
- Attend events and network within the business community (local and overseas) to promote EPIC and to identify opportunities for collaboration
- Support and participate in EPIC programs overseas including Europe, US, Asia, and the Middle East. Further, within Armenia, to help implement the AUA-directed strategy associated with reality labs and outreach for strengthening the country's regions
- Participate in new, future EPIC initiatives including investment fund, crowdfunding platform, innovation programs, international collaborations, etc.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor/s
RequiredQualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher. Master's degree would be a plus. A degree in business would be preferred (technical backgrounds are acceptable)
- Experience and success in a business start-up or growing, early-stage venture in Armenia and/or overseas
- Knowledge of business, management, and entrepreneurship education and principles including the Lean Startup approach and Business Model Canvas
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Armenian (desirable)
- Strong management, collaborative, and interpersonal skills and proven ability to interface effectively with diverse teams
- Flexible schedule, ability to travel
