Description
The incumbent will manage the furniture production process, ensure that quality, efficiency and delivery are meeting the Company standards and plan.
Responsibilities
- Manage operations to ensure the safe and timely completion of production schedules or department work by effectively utilizing people, equipment and material;
- Ensure all planning, production orders and transfer to final stock on a daily basis;
- Ensure that raw materials, manufacturing/ trading items and manufacturing processes conform to the Company specifications and quality standards;
- Ensure that all machines are operating as per defined parameters to maximize the output and achieve efficiency;
- Manage stocks of raw materials and ensure that orders are planed in accordance with the maximum/ minimum agreed stock levels.
RequiredQualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering is strongly preferred;
- Supervisory experience of at least 1 year in a manufacturing/ processing facility preferably in furniture production;
- Knowledge of required quality standards and visual defects;
- Technical knowledge of raw materials, products and processes quality control procedure;
- Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD.
