XNTrends is eager to engage to its team a hard-working and enthusiastic about achieving the daily goals Senior Automated QA Engineer. The incumbent will be responsible for verifying the proper operation and reliability of applications and reporting any deficiencies, limitations or risks. He/ she must have the ability to quickly learn new technologies and to support multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, write, debug and execute automated tests;
- Write, track, review and verify resolution of defects using Jira;
- Design, write, review, and execute test plans, procedures, reports, user guides and other technical documentation;
- Communicate effectively testing status to technical leads, development teams, program managers and customers;
- Communicate effectively testing strategies to customer contacts at test events and product delivery.
RequiredQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cybernetics or other relevant field;
- Proficiency in English language;
- Proficiency in scripting languages: Java, Ruby, Python and Shell;
- Knowledge of test frameworks: Appium and Selenium, Calabash;
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration;
- Knowledge of mobile technologies (Android and IOS);
- Experience with version control solutions (Git and SVN);
- Experience in using virtualization technologies (VMware and Virtualbox);
- Ability to quickly build a variety of testing environments;
- Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, HTTP and SSL);
- Basic technical writing abilities;
- Ability to work collaboratively with users and IT team members to understand business requirements;
- Ability to collaborate with other IT professionals to achieve common project goals;
- Ability to work on multiple projects/ priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
