Responsibilities
Ensure staff adherence to schedule (no late arrivals or departures, no unauthorized overtime)
Supervise staff to make sure they comply with Grooming and Attire policy
Inspect for staff to perform a proper clock in and clock out, maintain regular and punctual attendance
Supervise daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures
Inspect units after being cleaned by Housekeepers to ensure high quality standards upon need
Follow up with tasks and ensure timely completion
Do random inspections of units after GEMs verify cleaning tasks
Initiate corrective and disciplinary actions
Check and report any non standard staff and/or guest situation to prevent possible fraud
Report damages and malfunctions using the company software
Supervise the operations of the front desk to ensure an optimal level of service and hospitality is provided to the guests
When short on staff perform guest check in and check out, answer phone calls, respond to guest and Headquarters requests
Support in renovation, maintenance and setup of new rooms or other hotel areas
Perform cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage
Investigate complaints and report to Operations Manager or Corporate Regional Manager
Resolve customer issues, complaints, problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service
Assume leadership in the absence of the Operations Manager
Other duties as assigned
