JOB DESCRIPTION: Starting and conducting litigation against clients and third parties within the scope of the Bank's activities, providing court representation, designing, developing, maintaining and implementing a system approach to non-performing borrowers, representing the bank in relations with the financial system mediator, representing the bank's interests at administrative hearings and other government organizations, handling lawyer requests related to the litigation process, ensuring proper reporting on legal processes related to NPL recovery.

Responsibilities
-If required, submit proposals for continuing improvements and relevant amendments in procedures and processes
-Perform core functions defined for the position in accordance with the laws and procedures regulating this sector
-Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager
-Operate under established roles, approved limits, and responsibilities
-Raise, discuss and develop joint work solutions together with the line manager to perform efficiently
-Based on the instructions of the head of Administrative Legal and Litigation Practice Division of the Legal Department
-Examine the clients' applications and complaints, and secure all relevant processes, including compiling and/or reviewing the replies to the claims filed with the Bank, as well as other written responses sent by the Bank
-Represent the Bank in Armenian courts, government and non-government agencies and organizations, in relations with the financial system mediator, as well as represent the Bank's interests at administrative hearings
-Ensure representation and collaboration in relations with the Compulsory Enforcement Service, based on distribution of duties between the Security Service and Department
-Attend conferences and discussions on topics related to his/her job responsibilities, namely, meetings organized on the initiative of the Central Bank of Armenia and/or the financial system mediator's office
-Take part in discussions on non-performing loans, provide legal solutions related to collection of such loans and the processes connected with their implementation
-Prepare and perform legal review of claims, power of attorney, and other documents containing legal provisions /including agreements, petitions (preliminary claims), inquiries/letters addressed to government and non-government agencies/organizations and/or responses to such letters, legal inquiries made within the framework of administrative and litigation processes and/or responses to such inquiries/
-Prepare foreclosure notices/notifications and carry out (control) the respective process, ensure registration of the Bank's rights in the agencies that register property rights on the basis of such documents
-Provide for legal follow-up for the Bank's procurement, including preparation and review of agreements for the relevant sector
-If necessary, submit a report to the first Large Credit Committee meeting of each month, presenting the measures taken/actions performed by him/her and the division during the previous month and the outcome of such measures and actions /the frequency of reporting might change as needed/
-If necessary, prepare and submit reports on litigation and other problem cases to the Bank's respective bodies, the Central Bank of Armenia, government and non-government agencies and organizations, based on the required frequency and form
-Based on the written assignment of the head of Administrative Legal and Litigation Practice Division of the Legal Department and/or the Legal Director, support performance of the respective duties and/or tasks by other divisions of the Legal Department
-Perform other duties defined under internal legal acts of the Bank

RequiredQualifications
-Legal education
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
-Knowledge of Armenian normative legal acts related to civil law, civil and administrative litigation
-Having the advocacy qualification will be deemed as an advantage
-Excellent knowledge of Armenian language, good knowledge of Russian and English languages
-Communication skills and courteous manners
-Attention to detail
-Ability to work in a team, at least 3 years of teamwork experience
-Ability to make decisions quickly and handle stressful situations
-Ability to work under pressure and resolve complicated issues
-self-disciplined
