Responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparations for the café opening/closing processes
- Manage day-to-day operations of the café
- Manage the personnel and distribute the duties of employees during the shift
- Register staff attendances, monitor staff schedules
- Conduct training with employees
- Control cash transactions; keep cash records
- Coordinate vendors and order supplies, as needed (like takeaway cups, coffee, milk and other ingredients)
- Monitor compliance with the technological processes of cooking
- Control over the use of material and technical resources
- Ensure cafe profits due to high sales
- Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service
- Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation
RequiredQualifications
- At least 1 year experience as a Cafe Manager or administrator, or at least 2 years experience as a "floor manager", or at least 3 years experience as a barman
- Knowledge of restaurant etiquette and service
- Confident PC user (MS Office, knowledge of POS-terminals and restaurant software)
- Availability to work within opening hours (including weekends and holidays)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Customer service attitude
- In personal competences: organizational skills, leadership, stress resistance and interpersonal skills
- Diligent, attentive to details, ability to think accurately and systematically
