Responsibilities

- Develop new user-facing features
- Build reusable code
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

RequiredQualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree
- Develop functional and scalable web-based applications based on design and UI/UX requirements
- Strong understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
- Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Gulp.js
- Good understanding of GitHub, Atlassian developer tools
- Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
- Experience working with RESTful web services
- Basic knowledge of Node.js and Express.js
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis is an advantage
