Responsibilities

Performance objectives:

1. Develop comprehensive documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.

We primarily expect you to independently gather information and produce procedure manuals, technical specifications, and overall process documentation.

Daily tasks here include:

• develop, organize, and write high-quality documentation;

• research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that uphold organizational and legal standards, and allow for easy data migration;

• analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities;  

• identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storage.

2. Collaborate with the whole team and create products, which are focused on user-friendliness and clean processes.

This means you are able to dig deep and quickly grasp complex technical concepts, as well as translate user experience to the understandable content, visuals and diagrams.

Daily tasks here include:   

• work closely with the product development/engineering teams to get a clear understanding of project requirements as well as user needs for writing easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides;

• create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications;

• have a sharp eye on details and analytical mind to evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement.

RequiredQualifications

Must-have qualifications:

Besides whatever we mentioned above regarding your personal skills and competencies, here’s a simple checklist before you apply:

• 2+ years’ of relevant experience in IT and with multifunctional teams;

• excellent written skills in English, Russian, and Armenian;

• strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, G-Suite;

• BA degree in IT (Computer Science, Engineering or related fields).

Preferred qualifications:

• proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization;

• firm understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC);

• previous software development experience;

• experience using XML tools to create documentation.
