Responsibilities

• Conduct placement tests and form groups.
• Plan and deliver lessons and courses to students, ages 6-16.
• Prepare and administer student assessment.
• Participate in teaching staff meetings locally or in Yerevan.
• Participate in continued professional development opportunities.
• Depending on the experience and qualifications, the teacher may be assigned additional administrative responsibilities.

RequiredQualifications

• Strong command of oral and written English;
• MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), *Certificate in TEFL from AUA, or another internationally recognized teaching qualification such as CELTA;
• Experience teaching English to children in a classroom setting.
