Description
Responsibilities
- Deal with the 1st level of incidents or anomalies: diagnosis, identification, information, resolution, formulation
- Identify the origin of the incidents and resolve them
- Record reported incidents or malfunctions
- Transfer calls from users to relevant entities if necessary
- Ensure the anti-virus software is installed, kept up to date and working properly on all customers stations, where appropriate
- Integrate hardware, software or subsystem components into an existing or completely new system
- Assist with and provide support/troubleshooting for local server hardware
- To set up new PCs and other hardware as required and to make sure that all newly set up hardware is left in a "ready" state for staff use
- Follow resources (network printers, servers, connected workstations ...)
- Diagnoses incidents in the case of problems noticed on the network, on the servers or in case of a user's alert
- Maintain up-to-date operational tracking documentation
- Other relevant responsibilities indicated in the full Job Description
RequiredQualifications
- Technical background
- Must enjoy solving a wide variety of problems on a continual basis
- Basic knowledge of SQL and Database Administration
- Knowledge of technical English languages is a must
- MS Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, CentOS 6 and higher
- Knowledge of Tomcat, Java and Nagios is a plus
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- High sense of responsibility
