Description
Reporting to the Security Manager, the Site Security Supervisor directs a team of Supervisors who are responsible to ensure the security of the people and facilities associated with the project.
Responsibilities
- Control the reporting of faults to ensure the completion of repairs and upgrades in a cost effective and efficient manner;
- Continuously assess the changing security needs of the site to form proposals for improvements of operations;
- Conduct effective performance appraisals of security staff/ contractors and take corrective actions as necessary;
- Create a working environment in which assigned personnel are motivated to develop their skills and abilities;
- Demonstrate by personal example the desired standards of conduct and work performance expected from subordinates;
- Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism to all internal and external customers;
- Perform job responsibilities in a way that builds rapport and teamwork with all others in the Organization;
- Be prepared to work unsociable times and remain flexible.
RequiredQualifications
- University diploma or equivalent;
- Former experience in military service or police is an asset;
- At least 2 years in a Security Supervisor position within a security setting;
- Experience in using modern security technology systems and equipment;
- Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures;
- Knowledge in reporting, emergency response planning and incident management is a plus;
- Ability to use resources wisely and demonstrate collaboration with local and state law enforcement agencies;
- Willing to be managed, coached and mentored by an expatriate;
- Good working knowledge of English language (both written and spoken);
- Driving experience and an availability of a driving license.
