Description
The incumbent will work in the Company's Technical Team of Engineers from Armenia and Silicon Valley developing algorithms and software. The Mid-Level Android Developer will play a critical role in building next generation mobile email client.
Responsibilities
- Implement machine learning algorithms on a mobile device;
- Responsible for handling technical design and implementation of features for Android application;
- Architect, implement and unit test features per product definitions; test applications for memory leaks, debug crash logs, etc.;
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the application;
- Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize mobile development efficiency.
RequiredQualifications
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio IDE, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes;
- Strong knowledge of Android NDK and C++;
- BS/ MS in Computer Science or a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience;
- More than 3 years of experience in Android development; previous publication in at least 1 highly rated application in Google Play;
- Strong knowledge of and experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning;
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms;
- Experience with machine learning is a big plus.
