Responsibilities
- Finalize the research methodology for study on "Pasture management problems in RA and their cause-and-effect relationships" together with the project team
- Develop a toolkit for expert interviews, thematic group discussions (regional and national levels) together with the Project team
- Collect and analyse the secondary data on the topic of study (statistics, documents, reports, legislation, etc.)
- Participate in the interviews with experts (up to 6 expert interviews), facilitate thematic group discussions (3-4 group discussions)
- Analyse the collected primary data (local/ community levels, regional and national levels)
- Collect additional data on the subject of the study, perform other activities not provided for in the above points
- Provide information on the research process and the interim results to the founder and partner organizations of the "Program Coordination Platform for Sustainable Management of RA's Natural Fodder Areas: Pastures and Grasslands" (1-2 meetings)
- Responsible for development and provision of the draft and final reports
RequiredQualifications
- Professional experience and knowledge in the field of natural resources management, policy development and practical implementation; knowledge in public administration, local governance and public service delivery
- Relevant education
- Experience in conducting assessments, surveys and analyzes
- Ability to develop research methodology and tools
- Quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills
- Reporting experience and skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage the complex workload and meet deadlines
- Fluency in written and spoken Armenian language; good knowledge of English language
- Computer literacy with practical experience in Microsoft Office applications
