Description
The role of the position is to coordinate Teach For Armenia (TFA) Leadership Development Program fellows' placement and community development related activities and provide technical/ organizational support to the respective Department Director to meet objectives defined by the functional related strategies and action plans.

Responsibilities
Placement of Leadership Development Program (LDP) Fellows in Schools (60% of the time):
- Create database on existing teaching position vacancies across the country;
- Ensure timely maintenance, management and update of placement related database;
- Manage online information platforms and intranet;
- Develop school principal stewardship and cultivation action plans;
- Develop annual action plans/ mechanisms to ensure the implementation of Placement Strategy in accordance with defined objectives and quality indicators;
- Contribute to the elaboration of placement/ regional partnership related strategies;
- Regularly compile information on the status of cooperation with school principals through collaborating and communicating with Leadership Development Managers;
- Set up experience and knowledge exchange system among TFA partner schools through considering different level of development and teaching quality of later ones;
- Organise Principal gatherings, forums and round table discussions;
- Conduct quarterly checking calls with school principals to maintain good relations and reveal any possible concerns and suggestions for further improvement of cooperation between TFA and its partner schools;
- Draft letters and communication materials for school principals and other stakeholders operation on regional/ marz level;
- Coordinate the process of school principals' cultivation/ stewardship through sending celebration letters, annual plans and acknowledgment messages as well as showing any appreciation gestures.

Community Development (40% of the time):
- Coordinate community needs assessment process;
- Provide technical and hands-on support to TFA fellows on community development related project proposal elaboration;
- Review and update Proof Point Community Matrix (PPCM);
- Develop guidelines and manuals to support the implementation of PPCM components;
- On regular basis conduct resource mapping in the field of project management and community development to identify potential capacity building opportunities for fellows;
- Create referral mechanisms between fellows and the identified resources;
- Review all community development related project proposals and provide technical feedback;
- On daily basis manage TFA database/ platform on community development projects;
- Facilitate the operation of TFA grant selection committee;
- Ensure accurate community related data collection on grassroots level.

RequiredQualifications
- Master's degree, preferably in Social Sciences, Public Administration, Community Development;
- Certificate and diploma on project management is preferred;
- At least 2 years of work experience in the position of coordinating community development and empowerment related projects preferably with international and non-governmental organizations;
- At least 1 year of community grassroots level work experience is preferred;
- Database management experience;
- Good knowledge and understanding of community and social issues;
- Good understanding on child ecosystem;
- Good understanding and practical knowledge on monitoring and evaluation;
- Hands-on knowledge and experience on preparing concept notes and briefs;
- Good knowledge of the Armenian mainstream education will be considered as an asset;
- Good knowledge of the Armenian child welfare system will be considered as an asset;
- Excellent command of Armenian and English languages, both written and verbal;
- Advocacy and networking skills;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills;
- Good listening skills;
- Research and report-writing skills and ability to interpret or present data;
- Non-judgemental and positive attitude;
- Creative thinking and problem-solving ability;

- Advanced computer skills.
