Description
The Chairman of the MPI Union will have to be guided in its activities by (a) the Charter of the Association; (b) job description;(c) legislative and regulatory documents of the Republic of Armenia governing association activities. In order to perform the functions assigned, the Chairman of the MPI Union should be able to resolve all issues within the rights delegated to him: on his own behalf conclude contracts, represent the interests of the Association in relations with government agencies and other associations and enterprises, as well as individuals.

Responsibilities
- Participate in the definition and development of the Association's policy, and its charter;
- Plan the overall activities of the Association;
- Prepare and hold regular and special meetings of the founders, the general meeting of the members of the Association, monitor the implementation of the decisions taken at them;
- Organize interaction between the enterprises of the Association, and their structural divisions;
- Ensure the implementation of relevant plans and programs, and all the commitments undertaken by the Association;
- Implement activities aimed at expanding the interests of the Association in the government bodies of the RA.

RequiredQualifications
- Higher education;
- Knowledge of the acting legislation of the Republic of Armenia concerning the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, government regulations and decisions in this area;
- Knowledge of the profile, specialization and features of the structure of the Association;
- Knowledge of prospects for the development of the pharmaceutical industry in the Republic of Armenia;
- Knowledge of the Labor law of RA;
- Knowledge of the procedure for the conclusion and execution of economic and other contracts;
- Knowledge of basics of ethics, aesthetics, psychology, conflictology.
