Duration Appointment: Definite Not to Exceed 7 months from the date of appointment.

Responsibilities
-As a voucher examiner, the incumbent is responsible for the examination and preparation of the payment of contracts (including services, construction and other types), utilities (including electricity, water, heating and trash), leases, and telephones (including cellular)
-The incumbent must be an expert on all of these types of vouchers or be able to identify when his/her knowledge is not sufficient and be able to go to the appropriate reference source for the correct information.
-As accountant, the incumbent is responsible for maintenance of post's accounts receivable (including home-to-office use of Government Owned Vehicles, shipping, fuel, supplies, and VAT). The incumbent also maintains Purchase Card accounting and prepares the monthly VAT submission to the Government of Armenia for reimbursement.
-As travel "super arranger" is responsible for preparation of travel authorizations for State employees, for assistance in preparation of travel advances and travel reimbursement vouchers to the employees of all agencies receiving Financial Management Service, and for training travel arrangers in other sections/agencies.

RequiredQualifications
-At least two years college studies required.
-Minimum two years' experience in clerical accounts maintenance, bookkeeping, or related accounting technician work is required.
-LANGUAGES:
-Level 4 (fluent) English language ability is required. (this may be tested)
-Level 3 (good working knowledge) Armenian required. (this may be tested)
-The incumbent must possess solid skills in MS Word, Excel, Internet Explorer and Outlook, as well as solid competency in general computer usage and Internet navigation.
