Responsibilities

• Border gateways (Core Routers) administration, maintenance and negotiation with ISP’s;
• Corporate Network administration (Corporate Switches, Routers and Firewalls);
• Corporate VoIP system administration and maintenance (Asterisk and IP Phones);
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plan;
• Develop tools for automation, monitoring and system reporting;
• Perform architectural design and capacity planning;
• Ability to work in multi-vendor network environment;
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems relating to infrastructure and applications;
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT systems including engineering works;
• Work on daily operational tasks and long-term projects with minimal supervision;
• Participate in an on-call rotation;
• Build and maintain technical relationships across teams;
• Communicate with other groups to resolve technical or productivity issues;
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the infrastructure.

RequiredQualifications

• 3+ years of Network administration in a 24x7 business critical environment;
• Strong understanding of Network Routing and Switching principals;
• Understanding of VoIP principals;
• Understanding of IT security principals;
• Experience with  Unix/Linux is a plus;
• Certification in Cisco (or other network equipment vendors) is a plus;
• Experience with HP, CISCO, EMC and IBM hardware is a plus;
• Experience with virtualization is a plus;
• Scripting knowledge (bash, etc.) is a plus;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with remote team members.
