Responsibilities
Duties during Preoperational and Ramp-up Phase:
- Plan and organize vendor training for Mechanical and Electrical personnel, especially Sandvik and ABB
- Assist with selection of employees, and testing where appropriate
- Assist Operations Training Consultant if required Duties during Operational Phase:
- Safety: assist with preparation and delivery of safety related training material, in particular LOTO (lock out, tag-out), confined spaces, working at heights, hot work, etc.
- Prepare Annual training plan: equipment specific (vendor); maintenance general (e.g. rigging)
- Licences: electrical, crane, forklift; liaise with Technical Security Department as necessary
- With HR, manage training documentation and training related pay increments
- With Operations Coordinators, develop and implement process plant specific inductions
- Execute the approved and budgeted annual training plan
RequiredQualifications
- Previous supervisory experience in the mining or a related industry, or experience in other industries such as food and beverage, power generation, chemical, and metals
- Previous training experience is desirable
- Aptitude and a positive approach; specific training expertise
- University degree in a mining related field or other technical field
- At least five years of experience in a technical supervisory role or in a technical training field
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Effective presentation skills
- Excellent knowledge of verbal and written Armenian and Russian languages; working knowledge of English language
