Responsibilities

The Hydro and Civil works manager will perform the following functions:

• Ensure general operation of hydrotechnical constructions;
• Prepare and implement a remedial action plan based on the reports and technical specifications;
• Ensure rehabilitation and/or installation of new dams monitoring systems as per reports and technical
• Prepare and implement in coordination with EHS Engineer and other internal and external experts a Dam Emergency Action Plan for all dams;
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day projects activities on Site ;
• Lead Site coordination and works progress meetings;
• Coordinate projects activities with the Energy Power System Operator, respectively the National Dispatch Center of RA with regard to planning and coordination of necessary shut-downs;
• Ensure in coordination with Procurement & Contracts Manager adherence to time limits, commissioning, quality and costs of delivered goods and services, training of operating staff;
• Ensure document flow is communicated properly to the Procurement & Document Controller;
  on compliance matters;

RequiredQualifications

• Higher education in relevant field;
• At least 7 years of work experience in managerial position in the relevant field;
• Knowledge of rules of technical exploitation of HPPs;
• Knowledge of all valid official provisions, exploitation instructions, internal code of conduct and security rules;
• Knowledge of meaning and descriptions of all constructions and equipment of the HPP;
• Knowledge of technical security and exploitation rules.
• Computer literacy;
• Fluent in Armenian and Russian;
• Knowledge of English;
