Description
Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for managing operations of Magnolia Café and Grill House.
Responsibilities
- Manage food and beverage operations;
- Maintain exceptional levels of customer service and guest care;
- Hold team accountable to steps of service to deliver great guest service;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, subcontractors and the Food and Beverage team members;
- Regularly obtain feedback from guests to improve operations;
- Develop and recommend all menus, promotions and programs;
- Ensure team members have the tools necessary to complete their jobs;
- Create and execute marketing plan to build sales;
- Hold and document weekly meetings with staff, idea generating and problem solving to improve operations;
- Recruit, manage and develop the Food and Beverage team (interview, hire, train and develop team members);
- Oversee control of all inventories, product cost, cash handling and purchasing.
RequiredQualifications
- Experience managing a high volume operation;
- Strong attention to details;
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team;
- Budgeting, forecasting and sales experience is preferred;
- Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment;
- Initiative, responsible, flexible person with leadership skills;
- Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Internet;
- Excellent knowledge of Armenian and Russian languages; basic knowledge of English language;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Knowledge of grooming standards.
