Description
Scholae Mundi Armenia (SMA) intends to hire an Accountant who will be responsible for tax accounting and processing of transactions. The work is based in Dilijan. The incumbent should be able to travel to Yerevan at least twice a week.

Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly payroll for the staff;
- Handle all tax related issues, including calculation and transfer of staff and contractors' income tax and other liabilities deriving from the SMA activities;
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and other reports to local tax authorities in accordance with the Armenian regulations;
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information;
- Keep record of entry and exit transactions for the stock, fixed assets, accumulation of depreciation, revaluation and write-off, small value items and consumables;
- Handle disbursement and clearance of advance payments, review all invoices submitted by suppliers for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment;
- Perform acceptance of proceeds and costs;
- Manage the SMA bank accounts;
- Assist in budget monitoring and implementation of SMA's financial policies and procedures;
- Support budget and forecasting activities;
- Maintain complete confidentiality of all matters relating to SMA's finances and payroll at all times, which condition shall extend beyond the life of any contract or employment.

RequiredQualifications
- Degree in Finance or Accounting;
- At least 3 years of experience in senior accounting positions, preferably in an international setting;
- Strong knowledge of the RA tax and customs legislation and accounting standards;
- Proficiency in English, Russian and Armenian languages;
- Knowledge of 1C software;
- ACCA, CFA qualifications will be an advantage.
