Description
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and extend web applications backend using ASP .net, MVC, WebAPI
- Design and develop business and system APIs for both On Premises and Google Cloud
- Create and review API definitions which follow best practices
- Develop, maintain and enhance microservices using .net Core on Google Cloud for Kubernetes Engine
- Create or extend relational or nosql databases using technologies like MS-SQL Server, CloudSQL, Firestore, Redis or others
- Use and enhance event driven data management for microservices using PubSub, Kafka or others
- Create, support and document libraries using C# and publish them in Questrade internal NuGet
- Follow the company rules for code review, unit testing and code quality
RequiredQualifications
- Strong understanding of object-oriented (OOP) development
- Strong knowledge of .net Framework and .net Core using C#
- Microservice and database development skills for Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with web application backend development using MVC, ASP .NET, Web API
- Good knowledge of MS-SQL Server for creating new tables with indexes, triggers, temporals, also writing complex stored procedures following company rules
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in backend development using .NET
- Knowledge of Javascript, NodeJS, AngularJS is a plus
