Security Guard
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent organisation with the exclusively humanitarian mission to protect the lives and dignity of victims of war and internal violence and to provide them with assistance. It also endeavours to prevent suffering by promoting and strengthening International Humanitarian Law and universal humanitarian principles. Established in 1863, the ICRC is at the origin of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
The ICRC Mission in Nagorno-Karabakh is announcing a vacant full-time (working schedule by shifts) position of Security Guard based in Stepanakert.
Responsibilities
-The Security Guard provides and maintains security in the assigned premises.
-Welcomes, screens, reports/records and shares the information of all visitors and vehicles arriving at the assigned premises with respective departments
-Immediately reports any problem/incident or anything suspicious to supervisor and security responsible
-Performs regular security/safety checkups of all ICRC premises and keeps them in control to prevent incidents
-Answers the telephone calls before/after the workhours and on weekends and transmits necessary information to the staff member concerned
-Maintains all radio and phone contacts, registers them in the logbook during the absence of radio operators
-Washes and cleans the ICRC cars parked at the office yard, keeps the office yard and surrounding territory clean
-Performs other supporting duties in case of necessity
RequiredQualifications
-Primary school education
-Similar work experience desirable
-Basic knowledge of English, Armenian, knowledge of Russian will be viewed as an asset
-Knowledge of security devices will be viewed as an advantage
-Computer Proficiency will be an asset
