Description
A newly establishing International Non-Profit Organization (NGO) operating with Tufenkian Foundation is focused on planting trees and increasing forest coverage in Armenia. Faced with the reality of global warming due to fossil fuel burning, it is urgent to encourage processes that capture carbon. The simplest and most efficient one is tree planting, which is the mission of the NGO.

The Project Manager carries out the vision of NGO, supports in the development and implementation of its mission and vision. He/she establishes network and implements activities, aiming at promoting reforestation projects in Armenia to improve Armenia's attractiveness, better air quality, richer flora and fauna, etc.

Responsibilities
- Develop NGO's mission and vision together with the board of directors;
- Establish NGO's objectives together with the board of directors;
- Establish and follow up budget together with the board of directors;
- Responsible for the recruitment of NGO team members, by clearly stating NGO goals;
- Work in cooperation with the Agrarian University of Armenia and the Ministry of Nature Protection;
- Supervise the creation of a greenhouse nursery in coordination with the Agrarian University;
- Supervise the creation of a website and follow up with NGO awareness raising in social media;
- Create networking with private sector and public entities for future fundraising needs;
- Assist in the organization and coordination of networking events;
- Manage forestation, seedlings and donors databases and follow success rates;
- Perform other related tasks.

RequiredQualifications
- Graduate degree in Economics, Forestry or Agriculture;
- At least 3 years of prior experience working in an executive position in an NGO;
- High motivation in handling environmental needs, basically in tree and forest protection/ increase;
- Advanced PC user;
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills;
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills;
- Advanced knowledge of written and spoken Armenian, English and Russian languages;
- Flexibility to travel to different parts of Armenia;
- Both team and individual working capacities;
- Excellent time-management skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, often simultaneously, flexibility;
- Adherence to higher working ethical standards (honesty, dedication, responsibility), innovative thinking, confidentiality and political neutrality.
