Responsibilities
The core job responsibilities of the Senior Analyst in Program Development is to lead or contribute to the following activities:
- Screening, evaluation of new ideas generated internally and/or proposed by external parties
- Definition of the project incubation scope with relevant stakeholders
- Planning of duration, effort, sequence and dependencies of tasks required to meet project incubation objectives
- Engagement of relevant subject matter experts into the incubation process and coordination/supervision of their work
- Identification and evaluation of potential partnership opportunities
- Definition of projects theory of change and/or impact value chain
- Design of projects' business case, including various scenarios of operating and financial models
- Compilation of investment packages and support to the investor pitching/fundraising activities
- Monitoring and documentation of project milestones and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle, report on projects current status and results to project stakeholders
- Management of project stakeholders and their expectations through effective project-related communication
- Implementation of other tasks within the Program Development function
RequiredQualifications
- University degree in Finance, Business or Economics
- At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, management consulting or deal advisory
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Excellent knowledge of English, working knowledge of Armenian is a plus
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to analyze complex objectives and re-formulate them as simple tasks
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and work effectively with other departments/teams
- Ability to work independently with systemic approach and high sense of ownership to the work
- Knowledge of international business practices and cultures
