Responsibilities
-Establishing, developing and monitoring corporate relationships by selling the products offered by Commercial banking and peer businesses, maximizing the profitability of the bank, focusing on interest and non-fund income generation
-Ongoing credit portfolio management and monitoring, acting as the focal point for all credit and non-credit related issues of the customers, providing comprehensive customer service
-Ongoing customer contact, establishment and developing of relationship with New To Bank clients and increasing wallet penetration for Existing To Bank clients
-Assessment of customer's business and financial performance, monitoring customer's risks and customer facilities through regular visits/meetings
-Preparing and recommending commercial/credit applications and submitting for approval, in line with internal guidelines and local prudential requirements.
-Conducting market research in different industries to identify target companies for establishing mutually beneficial and long-term relationships by constantly monitoring their financial needs and identifying and cross-selling proper commercial facilities, products, and services. Marketing commercial banking products and services to potential customers, whilst negotiating favorable terms and conditions for the Bank
-Managing relationship with commercial banking borrowing customers in a way to comply with all applicable HSBC and local regulations and guidelines, support the financial needs of customers and form a high quality of lending portfolio
-Decision making and providing of judgmental approach as appropriate in various situations arising throughout the relationship management
-Ensuring adequate operational controls within the scope of the jobholders' competence
-Safeguarding the Bank from potential risks and losses by timely identification and management of respective risks
-Effectively manage money laundering, counter terrorist financing, fraud and reputational risk, by completing HSBC Customer Due Diligence for corporate profiles at the time of on-boarding and regular reviews
-Participating in departmental projects and teambuilding events
RequiredQualifications
-To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
-University graduate (preferably Master's Degree) in Business Administration, Economics, Banking or Finance
-At least 3 years of related work experience in finance, banking and/or business environment
-Good negotiation, interpersonal and relationship skills
-Knowledge of finance, ability to interpret complex financial information
-Good understanding of the local market specifics, familiarity with local business culture and environment is essential
-Ability to understand and interpret legal terminology and documentation
-Knowledge of insurance and valuation products and services
-Excellent knowledge of Armenian, English and Russian languages
-Strong knowledge of MS Office and ability to quickly adapt to new software applications
-The following skills are essential for this managerial role
-Ability to understand the actual financial needs of the business, to come up with financial solutions that are best tailored to the customers' needs
-Ability to demonstrate judgmental thinking and effective decision-making in all appropriate cases
-Ability to conduct negotiations with the customers, to effectively handle all their requests related to the banking services and act as a focal point for all customer-related issues. In addition to excellent negotiation and relationship skills, this requires good understanding of the bank processes and products as a system
-Ability to identify potential customers and evaluate the future development prospects along with the underlying risks inherent within the customers' businesses
-Ability to conduct the full financial and operational assessment of the businesses. This requires understanding and ability to interpret financial information, familiarity with the local market specifics, ability to retrieve and analyze the necessary information required for such assessments
