Atenk Ltd. is looking for an enthusiastic candidate for the position of Construction Procurement Specialist who will develop effective communication with external and internal suppliers and manufacturers of construction materials.
Responsibilities
- Analyze project drawings and estimated budget;
- Supervise tendering procedures;
- Summarize and analyze pricing proposals;
- Arrange meetings with the construction companies and workers for correcting any project deficiencies, and negotiate with them;
- Compare and analyze estimated proposals and implementing plans;
- Research and maintain a list of construction material suppliers from internal and external market based on price, quality, payment and delivery terms;
- Compare prices/ products periodically for supplying new products at competitive prices;
- Negotiate with suppliers about contract, payment and price terms;
- Organize buying process;
- Prepare bid specifications and other necessary documents related to the purchase of materials and equipment;
- Work with the freight forwarding companies;
- Perform other job-related duties.
RequiredQualifications
- Graduate degree in Construction Science or other technical sciences;
- At least 1 year of experience in procurement or logistics field; experience in construction materials procurement is an advantage;
- Good knowledge of written and spoken Armenian, English and Russian languages;
- Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of Armenian Software is an advantage;
- Good knowledge of purchasing methods and procedures;
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
