To be considered, candidates must be creative, passionate about process improvement, and strong technical ability in the following areas:

• 4+ years of software development experience

• 4+ years of Android development experience

• Considerable programming experience in Java, Android NDK, and C/C++

• Strong Computer Science fundamentals and problem-solving skills

• Understanding of kernel internals (process scheduling, virtual memory, and file systems)

• Experience with Fragment-based Android application architectures

• Experience with embedded relational databases (SQLite)

• Experience in software architecture/ design/ best development practices

•  Experience in JNI is a plus;

• Good team player, ability to accept criticism and willing to learn newest technologies

• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the software development life cycle—including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous integration, build processes, testing, and operations

• Experience in communicating with UX/UI, product management, and QA to understand requirements, describe software product features, and articulate technical designs

• Ability to work in a rapid development environment that utilizes an iterative approach
