Responsibilities
- Work with CRM (Customer Relationship Management software)
- Respond to customers' requests, answer questions and offer transportation services
- Input of prospects customers in CRM online software from different sources
- Google, Yellow pages, Association directories, etc.
- Excellent customer service, communication and negotiation skills with strong command of English (both verbal and written)
- Communicate with potential clients with various methods including phone, email and cold calls.
- Provide clients customized solutions to transportation needs and related issues
- Negotiate pricing to service all prospect and client's needs
- Tracking the tenders, Cost Estimating
- Managing the sales
- Planning and placing orders
- Conducting organization's marketing strategy and sales policy
- Conducting sales coordination and analysis
- Check import/export documentation to determine cargo contents and classify goods including appropriate documentation
- Liaise with Airlines/Steamship Lines, LTL/TL carriers to provide transportation solutions to customers, including quotations, track shipments and follow up on arrangements
RequiredQualifications
- Verbal Communication – Speaks English clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
- Must have previous inside sales experience
- Must have calling⁄business development experience
- Previous logistics/transportation sales experience highly preferred
- Outbound call experience
- Customer service skills
- High degree of telephone etiquette, confidence and professionalism in interacting with customers and carrier partners
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Solid customer service and negotiation skills
- Ability to work late hours
