Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform;
• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code;
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability;
• Work with outside data sources and API's;
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency;

RequiredQualifications

• 2+ years of experience developing Apps for the Android platform;
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle;
• Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices;
• Knowledge of different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes;
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services;
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications;
• Up-to-date with the latest Android trends, techniques, and technologies;
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git;
• Fluency in English will be a big plus;
