Responsibilities

- Drive EBRD staff and visitors professionally ensuring a safe, punctual and efficient journey is achieved
- Adhere to all relevant local driving rules whilst executing your duties to the required EBRD standards
- Responsible for maintaining his own car in good and safe working conditions
- To observe Road Safety Code

RequiredQualifications

- Valid driving license
- Safe driving record
- Strict compliance with safety procedures
- Excellent driving skills and technical knowledge of cars
- Advanced Driver Training/Certificate
- Working knowledge of English is an advantage
- Experience of working in an international environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills The Bank's minimum standards for occasional drivers and their cars:
- All cars to be less than 3 years old and suitable for the terrain. (outside the city, 4x4's are to be used)
- All cars to be fitted with seatbelts in the front and rear; Drivers are expected to actively enforce the wearing of seatbelts
- All cars to be fitted for hands free communications. Drivers are not permitted to speak on a hand held phone while driving
- Drivers must obey local speed limits and road laws at all times
- Drivers must be knowledgeable of the roads and directions
- Drivers must report all accidents, incidents or near misses to RO; The RO is to report these to the HSST Unit in London
- All tyres are to have suitable tread
- Spare tyres must be available, fit for purpose
- All cars must be maintained to a high standard. Annually as a minimum (log book stamp) or equivalent legal requirement in the RO country of operation
- All Drivers are to have a clean valid driver's licence which has been seen by the RO with a copy taken and held on file locally
- All Drivers are to be English speaking
- A "no smoking" rule is to be obeyed in the cars at all times whilst EBRD staff and clients are being driven
- First aid kit to be provided
- Additional drinking water is to be carried for the Driver and passengers
- Cars are to be clean inside and out
- Driver and car insured to carry passengers
