Responsibilities
- Convert concepts in the source language to equivalent concepts in the target language
- Compile information, such as technical terms used within industry settings, into glossaries and terminology databases to be used in translations
- Speak, read, and write fluently in Armenian and English languages
- Relay the style and tone of the original language
- Manage work schedules to meet deadlines
- Render spoken messages accurately, quickly, and clearly
RequiredQualifications
- At least 5 years of translator's experience in the mining sector
- Fluency in Armenian (native level) and English languages
- Ability to demonstrate strong writing and communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate strong computer skills and familiarity with translation/ interpretation tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and maintain scheduling requirements
- Translation, interpretation and/ or language related degree is preferred
- Degree within a specialized industry (mining) in which you provide translation and interpretation services is preferred
