Description
The Systems Administrator will be primarily responsible for operating as the primary interface in ensuring continuity of the Organization's computer systems by providing expertise and assistance in resolving technical problems. He/ she will provide support to end-users on a variety of issues, respond to telephone calls, email and service requests for technical support. The incumbent will also document, track, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with WAN and LAN;
- Troubleshoot Microsoft servers and desktops;
- Troubleshoot and configure firewalls: SonicWall, FortiGate, Cisco Meraki, ASA and Check Point;
- Diagnose and resolve problems with local and network printers;
- Troubleshoot domain-related issues;
- Troubleshoot and configure wireless access points (UniFi, Meraki and Cisco);
- Troubleshoot and configure Office 365 users;
- Troubleshoot and configure Exchange server.
RequiredQualifications
- Excellent knowledge of English language;
- At least 3 years of successful hands-on Windows/ MAC troubleshooting experience - cloud, networking, printing, storage, peripherals, cabling, and switches experience;
- At least 3 years of experience in a Windows environment;
- Strong software and hardware diagnostic skills to solve problems;
- Experience with ticketing systems; strong documentation skills;
- Excellent organization and time management skills; excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Experience in Outlook including advanced troubleshooting;
- Experience in Windows Server migration projects;
- Experience in backup and disaster recovery technologies (Veeam and StorageCraft);
- Experience in Amazon AWS and Azure;
- Good understanding of OSI model;
- MCSA/ MCSE certification is preferred;
- Experience of responding to a high-volume of requests is preferred.
