Description
SCDM Armenia is looking for a Data Analyst in Micro-finance Team who is interested in finding a challenging environment for realization of his/ her potential and obtainment of new knowledge in the field.
Responsibilities
-Continuous observation and collection of relevant information on local financial markets to identify possible risk factors impacting negatively on new Partner Financial Institutions (PFIs) investments and the repayment of current PFI investments
-Preparation and update of PFI ratings on a regular basis
-Collection and review of documents from PFIs for the loan disbursement process
-Monitoring of interest and / or principal repayments, immediate follow-up on PFIs with interest and / or principal repayments overdue
-Monitoring of PFI investments and reporting
-Analysis of financial statements and other reports submitted by PFIs on a regular basis
-Preparation of regular monitoring reports assessing the institutional risk of each PFI investment
-Participation in on-site due diligence visits of potential PFIs in the country of consideration
RequiredQualifications
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or Mathematics
-At least 1 year of work experience in finance and/or accounting
-Knowledge in the field of finance and financial analyses
-Strong analytical skills
-Excellent knowledge of MS office
-Excellent written and oral skills of English, good knowledge of Russian, good knowledge of Spanish will be considered as advantage
-Highly organized
-Effective communication skills
-Attention to detail
-Ability to meet strict deadlines
-Display cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability
