Description
Synopsys is looking for an experienced CAD Engineer. The ideal candidate will be able to work in multi-functional teams, be capable of understanding requirements and come up with creative solutions, be reliable in following existing procedures but have a critical opinion regarding what he or she is doing and that be able to trade off the optimal with the best on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, or debugging software tools and flows for the development of integrated circuits;
- Determine hardware compatibility and/ or influence hardware requirements;
- Support a global design team debugging CAD issues, interfacing with foundries, configuring the CAD environment and design flows to support the design of integrated circuits;
- Develop routines and utility programs to aid in the design of integrated circuits.

RequiredQualifications
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Materials and Physics Engineering;
- Fluency in the English language;
- Advanced programming skills in C++ and good bases on scripting languages;
- Circuit theory knowledge;
- More than 3 years of relevant experience;
- Previous working experience in VLSI CAD domain;
- Experience in physical layout design, Extraction and Simulation;
- Experience in data management;
- Experience in analog, mixed-signal or digital design;
- Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action;
- Ability to receive general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments;
- Ability to build productive internal/ external working relationships.
