Description
Avenue Consulting Group is looking for a skilled Accountant to maintain financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards;
- Compute taxes, owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements;
- Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations;
- Report to the management regarding the finances;
- Establish chart of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts;
- Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs;
- Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems;
- Represent clients before taxing authorities and provide support during litigation involving financial issues;
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
RequiredQualifications
- University degree in Accounting or Finance;
- At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting and finance;
- Proficient knowledge of accounting software (1C and Armenian Software);
- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems;
- Practical knowledge of RA Tax and Labor legislation;
- Strong analytical and time management skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong computer skills and experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
- Knowledge of Armenian Accounting Standards;
- Excellent written and verbal skills in Armenian language; knowledge of Russian and English languages is an asset.
