We are looking to hire an Interior Designer. You will join a highly creative, collaborative team dedicated to innovative problem solving and design excellence. As an interior designer you will be responsible for creating spaces and experiences for our guests. The incumbent will directly report to Manager of Creative Team.

Responsibilities
-Perform interior design assignments that include conceptual design, schematic design, design development & technical drawings
-Provides design support for completion and execution of design projects for Ginosi apartels and common areas
-Develop space planning concepts, generate program documents and test fits when required
-Participate in selection of furniture with consideration of space specificity
-Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and samples
-Collaborate closely with design team, client & contractor
-Work closely with the procurement team to realize design vision
-Work with Ginosi to design or renovate spaces to meet our standards
-Enhance the function, safety, and aesthetics of interior spaces
-Select samples, including flooring, carpet, and paint to be approved by the client
-Choose color palettes and create mood boards
-Plan architectural details (i.e. crown molding, shelving units, etc.)
-Read and interpret blueprints
-Plan and estimate budgets for projects
-Submit technical drawings for approval by a construction inspector to ensure that the design meets building codes
-Draw up floor plans and sketches
-Use interior design software (archicad /3D max) to render final look of spaces
-Supervise on site realization of design
-Revise and create new brand guides
-Other duties as assigned
RequiredQualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field
-Computer skills: Revit, knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, Archicad and 3D max or equivalent interior design software
-Ability to focus on a single client with a variety of projects or multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development
-Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly
-Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills
-Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials and specification
-General knowledge of architectural and construction processes
-Understanding of persons per space and flow of people within spaces
-Understanding of psychological aspects of interior design
-Pragmatic problem solving skills for interior design
-Excellent graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas
-Good collaboration skills, organized and able to work in a team environment
-Creativity and imagination
-Great spatial awareness
-The ability to visualize concepts and articulate them to the team
-Good drawing skills
-An interest in changing trends in design
