Description
The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for planning, management, supervision and successful commissioning of mechanical installation projects (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and plumbing). The jobholder will work closely with the Company's installation team, design and engineering, procurement and service departments as well as client representatives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design team from the beginning of the project;
- Do effective planning of the project (supply of materials and equipment, workforce, and commissioning);
- Produce work schedules and update them on a regular basis;
- Control work progress at construction sites on a daily basis, check the quality and quantity of the work on a monthly basis;
- Perform coordination between project stakeholders: client representatives, foremen, designers and architects, procurement, commissioning team, general contractor, other contractors, etc.;
- Handle project problems, organize team meetings, and prepare possible solutions for decision making;
- Organize acceptance of work performed by clients;
- Coordinate commissioning works and final hand-over of the completed work to the client;
- Control overall project costs within the budget. Collaborate with the client to approve changes in the budget and design.
RequiredQualifications
- Higher education in Mechanical Engineering or Construction;
- At least 5 years of experience at site in project management;
- Knowledge of Armenian language; knowledge of Russian and English languages is preferred;
- Knowledge of project management basics; certification is desirable;
- Results-oriented person with an ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills;
- Planning and organizational skills;
- Ability to collaborate; team-working skills;
- Possession of a driving license and a personal car.
