Description
In the framework of donor-funded rural economic development project the incumbent will implement day-to-day management of branch office activities in Lori province. The anticipated location is Stepanavan but the location might be changed to Vanadzor in the course of implementation of the project.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical support in delivery and implementation of rural economic development project in the Lori province of Armenia;
- Implement day-to-day management of branch office activities;
- Manage the local team and perform administrative functions related to the operations of the branch office, assuring compliance with the set procedures and policies of SDA;
- Plan and manage on-going activities, in close collaboration with Project staff and SDA central office;
- Develop reports on the implemented activities and results;
- Build and manage relationships with stakeholders, including local governing bodies, lead farmers, as well as with development Projects that are active in the province;
- Present the project in the target communities and to the partners;
- Provide and facilitate technical support during organizing meetings, training and other events in the framework of the project;
- Ensure adherence to SDA quality standards and integration of best practice as well as adherence to donors and contractual requirements;
- Perform other duties as required by the management of the Project and Organization.

RequiredQualifications
- University degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related disciplines;
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in managing an organization or a team;
- Strong managerial and leadership skills;
- Proven success in operational management of various activities with a clear focus on results;
- Program and staff management; negotiation and representation skills;
- Understanding of the rural development and business context in Armenia;
- Sound judgment, problem-solving skills, initiative and result orientation;
- Ability to work effectively in teams with adaptability and responsiveness;
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
- Ability to manage complex workload and meet deadlines;
- Ability and willingness to travel (at least 50% of time);
- Fluency in written and spoken Armenian language; knowledge of English languages is desirable;
- Computer literacy with practical experience in Microsoft Office applications.
