Description
The main objective of the "Boost Investment in Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency in Armenia" Project is designing marketing strategies to attract investment and designing projects in the field of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency. The Young Expert will perform the following tasks:
a) Develop and execute effective marketing strategies applicable for the R2E2 Fund;
b) Draft the projects in the sphere of RE and EE to get financing from different donors;
c) Work closely with the PR, procurement and analytical teams on programs development and implementation.
Responsibilities
- With support of the Project Leader (e.g. Director of the Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund) and the YES Armenia Programme Manager, develop a detailed work plan with deliverables and outcomes for the project "Boost Investment in Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency in Armenia" (hereafter project) implementation;
- Review the project deliverable, outcomes, and schedule with senior management of a ministry/ agency and all relevant stakeholders;
- Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders;
- Execute the project according to the project plan;
- Develop forms, records, and files to document project activities and information collected;
- Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project;
- Write reports on the project for management and other stakeholders;
- Ensure that the project outcomes and deliverables are on time (in line with the work plan) and of the proper quality level;
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
RequiredQualifications
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business Management, Public Relations, Public Administration, Investments or other related area;
- At least 2 years of work experience in Marketing and Public Relations, Public Administration, Investments or other related area;
- Knowledge of Armenia Renewable Energy/ Energy Efficiency market and experience in international projects will be an advantage;
- Knowledge of project management basics;
- Ability to write reports, develop work plans and other documentation;
- Critical thinking ability and problem solving mindset;
- Effective communication skills, including ability to work with high level officials and presentation skills both oral and in writing;
- Good time management, prioritizing and organizing skills;
- Good researching and drafting skills;
- Good computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing, e-mail and the Internet;
- Good knowledge of Armenian and English languages.
