Description
Cybersecurity Specialist will perform security and penetration testing, security hardening, configuration, audit and security analytics tasks. The responsibilities will also include monitoring and reporting activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform security configurations on systems (security hardening);
- Plan and implement penetration tests, vulnerability scanning and stress tests to evaluate/ discover the level of vulnerability of the systems/ infrastructure;
- Create security monitoring/ alerting mechanisms;
- Perform security logs/ incidents analytics;
- Responsible for user access management;
- Prepare security reports and security audit (including different assets);
- Responsible for security trend analytics; be aware of security threats.
RequiredQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related area or equivalent experience;
- At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or similar area;
- Advanced knowledge of security aspects and experience for Microsoft Windows Server 2012/ 2016 and Linux (preferably RedHat based distributions), strong experience in security hardening for the operating systems mentioned above;
- Experience in performing penetration tests and vulnerability scanning using both dedicated frameworks (e.g. Metasploit Framework) and manual exploiting. Ability to understand/ analyze vulnerabilities and corresponding exploits;
- Experience in setting up security monitoring systems, analyzing different kind of logs and creating security reports (if needed);
- Basic (or better) experience in programming (C and Python) is a plus;
- Ability to perform security trend analytics for being aware of new vulnerabilities, threats and exploits;
- Experience in Microsoft Azure;
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
