Marli LLC is looking for a Financial Analyst.
Responsibilities
- Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc.) taking into account Company's goals and financial standing;
- Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks. Leverage tools and systems to quickly access data and present meaningful, concise information to various levels of management;
- Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance. Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis;
- Review monthly actual results versus plan, preparing monthly variance reports for business owners, and analyzing key performance drivers;
- Collaborate with Sales team to develop monthly financial forecasts that incorporate current business trends and strategies;
- Partner closely with accounting during monthly financial close; prepare and manage expense accruals;
- Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance;
- Create ad-hoc forecasts as needed during key periods to provide insights into areas of risk and opportunity and influence business strategies;
- Coordinate, as well as participate in the budgeting process;
- Participate in the preparation of Financial Reports (monthly, quarterly and yearly);
- Report on marketing activities, calculating ROI-s, campaign effectiveness. Analyze the profitability of the projects;
- Do market research, analysis, study competitors' products and services prices. Provide market intelligence and insights including pricing trend, market share and competitive analysis;
- Participate in cost factor preparation to set up standard cost and pricing;
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and build financial models to inform strategies, investment recommendations, and new business opportunities. Provide input for business decisions;
- Monitor return on investments (headcount, programs, channel incentives and cost of sales);
- Support Executive decisions related to revenue/ gross margin scenarios and product lifecycle planning;
- Build and maintain tools, presentations and reports to highlight relevant insights and track their evolution;
- Assemble demand generation and promotion margin/ break-even analysis to drive and support decisions related to consumer offers;
- Understand and communicate the impact of consumer offers and sales adjustments to net revenue
measure and influence partner and point of sale (POS) performance and related market coverage analysis.
RequiredQualifications
- University degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration or in any other related field;
- Strong analytical skills with at least 2-3 years of experience in finance related position;
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills;
- Willingness to take responsibility; the ability to learn quickly and work independently;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables and V-lookups);
- Team orientated and self driven personality;
- Strong technical skills with an ability to deal with large volumes of data and summarise key aspects;
- Positive energy and attitude with a desire to drive constant improvement and change;
- Ability to cut through ambiguity, to listen, challenge and innovate.
